The past week has seen the humidity really climb and spring showers/storms blow through. The rain doesn't cool things down here though but rather adds to the already high humidity. The smallest of tasks gets a good sweat going. Even Will, hot weather worshipper that he is, is looking forward to getting home to cooler temperatures and a white Christmas. We both find it exceedingly strange to listen to Christmas carols being blared in the local shopping centres while the temperature outdoors continues to climb.

Yes, isn't the humidity shocking! Every year we forget how uncomfortable summer is and then we are surprised, when it comes around again, at how hot and sticky it is! Hang in there and don't attempt make-up.. it just slides off your face! A-M xx
To be completely clear, it's not the heat I am looking forward to leaving, but rather looking forward to Christmas in the snow. There is just something about a white Christmas.
However, that said, there have been a couple of days were the humidity, not the heat, has been so hi that we had puddles at the foot of the windows at work.
I may love the heat, but walking around like you've got a portable shower strapped to your back, is just not comfortable.
